Emergency & Urgent Care Services

Animal Medical Center has the experienced team, advanced training, and facilities needed to care for pets during emergencies. Our veterinarians and staff are extensively trained in emergency and critical care and are prepared to act quickly when every moment counts.

We are equipped to provide immediate assessment, stabilization, and treatment, including:

  • Fluid and oxygen therapy

  • Rapid imaging of the chest, abdomen, and skeletal system

  • Comprehensive in-house laboratory services

  • Experience with emergency surgical procedures

If your pet is experiencing an emergency during our regular office hours, calling ahead—when possible—helps us prepare for your arrival and provide prompt care. However, we understand that emergencies are unpredictable. Please use your best judgment and come in as soon as you can.

If you believe your pet may have ingested a toxin or poison, please bring the product label with you if available. You may also contact the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435 for immediate guidance.

All emergency cases during office hours are treated on a triage basis to ensure the most critical patients receive care first.

After-Hours Emergency Care

If your pet experiences an emergency outside of our regular business hours, we recommend seeking care at a qualified 24-hour emergency hospital where your pet can be closely monitored and treatment adjusted as needed overnight.
